Children's Library and Event Night
We are trying to develop a children's library and hold events.
Anyone  interested in volunteering please call Judy Johnson at 570 222-4492 or 570 241-4231.
We are having an organizational meeting on November 29th at 7:00pm Benton Community Center.

.  They play Mondays and Thursdays at 6:30 at the community center gym.


Cast your ballot then join us at the fire hall for a delicious meal.

Menu to include Roast turkey, stuffing, mashed potato, gravy,  vegetable,

cranberry sauce, roll, desert & beverage.  All for $9. Reservations

Take-out serving begins at 5 PM. Eat-in serving begins at 5:30 PM.

 The new Salvation Army collection box located near the recycle trailer. The Salvation Army will accept almost any type of used clothing, shoes, furniture, kids toys, books, cars, you name it, the Salvation Army will be glad to accept it.  



 Fleetville fire company and auxiliary looking for volunteers.  If you are interested in becoming a firefighter that would be great. However, there are many opportunities for support personal.  Helping with dinners or fire police or building & grounds maintenance. It is all equally important.  Contact Gregg at 945-5897 for more information.

 WELCOME

 

Commonwealth Representative Karen Boback has opened a satellite office at the  Community Building. Rep. Boback’s representative will be present in the supervisors meeting room in the south hall the third Tuesday of each month. Hours of operation are 10:00 AM to 12 noon. Feel free to take advantage of this opportunity.  Just walk in. No appointment necessary.


RECYCLE TRAILER     PLEASE be certain item you are placing in the recycle trailer are indeed recyclable. Not all plastics are acceptable to recycle. Plastics should have a number 1 or 2 tattooed somewhere on the item. This is not a repository for general trash. This practice is not acceptable.  There is a security camera installed to monitor what is going into the trailer. If anyone has any questions concerning recycling they should contact Gregg Barber at 945-5897 or Bonnie Rosiak at 945-5557.
